Howdy, I’m Caley.
I’m a proud New Braunfels local and the maker behind Hill Country Chainstitch. I handcraft every piece using my 100-year-old Singer 114W103 chainstitch machine, bringing vintage technique and modern design together in custom bandanas, jean jackets, banners, keychains, and more.
I thrive in the Texas Hill Country, surrounded by its rolling hills, live music, and creative energy. When I’m not stitching, you can usually find me at a live show. Music is a big part of my life, and I’m engaged to a musician, which keeps the rhythm of inspiration flowing in everything I create.
Each piece I make is stitched by hand, start to finish, giving it unique character and durability. My goal is simple: to bring authentic, handmade Hill Country craftsmanship to your wardrobe, your home, or your event, one stitch at a time.
My Approach
I take a slow and steady approach to every stitch, guiding each piece by hand on my vintage Singer 114W103. Every bandana, jean jacket, banner, and keychain is crafted with care, built to last and full of character.
Simple ideas
Big visions often start small. I focus on clarity and intention, letting each design grow naturally from a single spark of inspiration.
Lasting impact
Crafted with care and attention, every piece is made to endure and be meaningful. The goal isn’t just to make something, it’s to create something that sticks with you.
