Howdy, I’m Caley.
I’m proud to call New Braunfels home, and I’m the maker behind Hill Country Chainstitch. I make every piece by hand using my 100-year-old Singer 114W103 chainstitch machine, combining vintage techniques with modern style in custom bandanas, jean jackets, banners, keychains, and more.
The Texas Hill Country inspires me every day with its rivers and lakes, live music, and creative energy. When I’m not stitching, you’ll probably find me at a concert. Music is a big part of my life, and being engaged to a musician keeps me inspired in everything I create.
I hand-stitch every piece from start to finish, so each one has its own unique character and lasting quality. My goal is to bring true, handmade Hill Country craftsmanship to your wardrobe, home, or event, one stitch at a time.
My Approach
I take a slow and steady approach to every stitch, guiding each piece by hand on my vintage Singer 114W103. Every bandana, jean jacket, banner, and keychain is crafted with care, built to last and full of character.
Simple ideas
Big visions often start small. I focus on clarity and intention, letting each design grow naturally from a single spark of inspiration.
Lasting impact
Crafted with care and attention, every piece is made to endure and be meaningful. The goal isn’t just to make something, it’s to create something that sticks with you.
